is an all volunteer organization with no paid staff.
Since 2006 we have served
528 families / 952 children
One of our main initiatives presently is to promote and distribute locally and nationally a wonderful positive life advancement mission project for churches and organizations to run entitled:
A Fresh Start For Single Mothers And Their Children
Community Outreach Mission Project
One of B.E.T.H.E.L.’s ambitions is that the Fresh Start program will be able to reach the multitude of single mothers and their children who are alone, desperate, lacking direction, brokenhearted and devoid of hope.
Offering these families a refuge through the Fresh Start program into an environment where they will not be judged but educated, encouraged and supported.
The program seeks to break the cycle of broken relationships, generational failures and shape the hearts of the next generation by promoting positive life changing advancements, inspirational ideas and educational information.
The focus is to help the single mother accept the singleness factor and move beyond it.
Teaching them ways to utilize the support and encouragement of others single mothers, social service programs in their area and the pertinent educational information presented in the program.
The Fresh Start program promotes a mindset that the important decisions and positive life changes made by them today affect their children’s future.
Presently there are 14 million single mothers in the United States, the demand for the
Fresh Start program has been overwhelming and
because of it’s past track record of success in Richmond, Virginia
B.E.T.H.E.L. Ministries is promoting and making Fresh Start
available to as many single mothers and children across the country as possible.

B.E.T.H.E.L Ministries funds are used in several areas
publicizing this important project and making it available to
other churches, womens groups, transitional homes and organizations.
Running the program in Richmond Virginia for families,
Offering support for local single mothers and their children
that are currently participating or
have participated and graduated from
our Fresh Start Program
Benevolence is made only to our regularly
participating families in areas of:
Rent to prevent evictions,
Utilities to prevent cut-offs,
Car Maintenance,
Clothing and Food donations.
Household and Baby items, Christmas Assistance,
Toys, Books, Furniture

B.E.T.H.E.L. supplies necessary Informational Resources and Referrals
for available area programs to assist in many facets of the
single mothers lives and her children from legal, financial and credit matters,
special education, employment, domestic violence awareness,
child protection, counseling, early intervention services
continuing education, spiritual enrichment and much more.
